OUR MISSION

In 1998, while vacationing in the Keys and enjoying the surrounding beauty, the name DV8 came to mind enjoying a cool cocktail on a hot day. We played with the name but knew that DV8 could be a play on words like deviate. It was decided that we deviate from the normal operational support protocol and the name stuck.  DV8 Computing & Consulting, Inc. deviates from the normal support companies because we take our time to listen to what you need first and provide solutions that will work for you after.  While we did not form the company at that time, DV8 was the name we were going to use.

In 2008, during the worst economic downturns in this country in the last 20 years, DV8 Computing was born after the owner was laid off by a large international stage lighting company.  We had become aware of the many fly by night computer repair companies that were taking advantage of clients young and old as we had to come in behind these bad companies and actually fix what was broken the first time.  

The one thing that really stuck with us, was the companies were taking advantage of the elderly due to their lack of knowledge combined with computer fear and charging them 5 times as much as what it really took to fix the issue.  We wanted to help and this became one of our missions, provide honest and cost effective computer help for those who needed it.  We also figured that if we could start a company during this time, we could do well later on when the economy returned and that proved to be true.  Many sacrifices were made to provide this type of service and we are still following those guidelines today.

DV8 Computing & Consulting was founded on the principle of old fashioned service in a technical world.  We will never talk down to you for not knowing the latest technology trends nor will we ever take advantage of a client no matter how small or large their issue may be because of their lack of knowledge with their technology.  We will use our technical skills to help those in need and will listen first before we start working on the actual issue.

DV8 will always offer the best support experience in the tech industry to make sure your problem is resolved in quick and cost effective manner.  If not, we will not charge you until you are satisfied or the issue has been resolved.
